Adventure Tours

Northern Ontario offers some of the most rugged landscape in Canada.  The Canadian Shield is the oldest mountain range in North America and the best way to explore it is by helicopter.  All four seasons are equally beautiful in the area north of Lake Superior, and  helicopters are the most versatile means of transportation in this area.

  • X-country skiing
  • Camping
  • Snowshoe adventures

For example you may have a Lake Superior picnic lunch at the mouth of the Dog River approximately 20 miles west of Wawa.  We will land on the beach, enjoy a picnic lunch and take a hike up the river to Denison Falls.  This spectacular waterfall flows through a narrow chute carved from bedrock before plunging 300 feet down to the rocks below.

Sightseeing

Wilderness offers many different sight-seeing packages. Everything from 12 minute flights over Wawa and surrounding areas to longer trips exploring anything you desire.

Location, Location, Location

Wawa is right in the middle of three large Northern Ontario Parks.  To the northwest is Pukaskwa National Park, to the south is Lake Superior Provincial Park and to the east is Missinaibi Lake Provincial Park.  All three parks feature a pristine wilderness setting.  While Air Regulations prohibit landing tourists into the parks, we can get you within walking distance of some very remote campsites.
